Delete your account

01Delete in the app

The fastest way, and it confirms it’s really you because you’re already signed in:

1. Open FocusDiffusion.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is signed out immediately and the deletion is processed as described below.

02Request by email

Prefer not to use the app, or already removed it? Send us a request:

Email a deletion request

• Email fortressofko@kortress.com with the subject “Delete my FocusDiffusion account.”
• Send it from the email address linked to your Apple or Google sign-in, or tell us the handle on your account, so we can verify the request is yours.
• We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

03What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

04What may be kept, and for how long

• Payment & transaction records — retained up to 7 years in anonymized form to meet legal obligations (e.g. Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Framework Act on National Taxes). These no longer identify you.
• Content-safety records — where illegal content was detected, the legally required records are retained separately for the period required by law.
• Re-registration cool-down — to prevent abuse, the same account may be blocked from re-registering for 30 days.

Photos and messages you already sent to a friend live in that friend’s own collection; like a letter you’ve sent, those copies are theirs and remain with them.
