01How it keeps time

Your arm swing is the metronome.

  1. Start a walk on your watchPress Start on the watch. No phone needed in your pocket.
  2. The watch reads your arm swingWrist motion alone tells it when each foot lands, whether you walk or run.
  3. A sound lands with every stepThe footstep plays in real time, and your step count adds up as you go.

02Choose the footstep

  • Footstep one,
  • two,
  • three,
  • or your own.

With Premium, use your iPhone's microphone to record a sound, trim it, and send it to your watch. A clap, a toy, a heel on marble.

Short sounds work best, about half a second to a second. Trim it to one clean step.
